SMS Terms
Effective Date: May 5, 2026
These SMS Terms govern text messages sent through the Reap platform on behalf of skilled nursing facilities and other healthcare providers ("Provider"). Reap Tech, Inc. ("Reap," "we," "us") operates the messaging infrastructure. The messages you receive originate from your Provider; Reap acts as the messaging agent.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms and consent to receive recurring text messages from your Provider, powered by Reap.
1. Program Description
Messages may include appointment reminders, care plan updates, billing notices, Medicaid documentation requests, secure links for completing forms, and other operational communications related to the resident you are designated to support. Messages are not marketing or promotional.
2. Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the resident's care activity, billing cycle, and any documentation needs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
3. Consent Is Not a Condition of Service
Your consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any service, treatment, or purchase from your Provider. You may opt in or out at any time without affecting the resident's care.
4. Opt-Out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END, or OPTOUT to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. If you opt out, you may continue to receive communications from your Provider through other channels, such as phone, email, or postal mail.
5. Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You may also contact your Provider directly using the contact information they have given you, or contact Reap support at support@getreap.com.
6. Quiet Hours
Messages will be sent only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. recipient local time. For Florida residents, messages will be sent only between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. recipient local time, in accordance with the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act.
7. Information We Collect
When you opt in, we collect:
- Your mobile phone number
- Your consent record, including the date, time, and method of opt-in
- Your responses to messages
- Delivery and engagement data (whether messages were delivered, opened, or replied to)
This information is associated with the resident's record at your Provider and used to operate the messaging program.
8. How Information Is Used
Your phone number and SMS-related data are used solely to:
- Send the transactional messages described above
- Confirm opt-in and process opt-out requests
- Provide customer support
- Maintain records required by law and by mobile carriers
9. No Sharing for Marketing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and SMS infrastructure providers, is permitted. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell mobile information.
SMS data is shared only with:
- Service providers who help us deliver SMS messages (such as our SMS infrastructure provider), who are contractually bound to use the data only for the purpose of delivering the Service
- The Provider on whose behalf the messages are sent
10. Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers (including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your plan.
11. Health Information
If a message contains protected health information about a resident, that information is being shared by your Provider, who is responsible under HIPAA for ensuring it is shared with an authorized individual. If you receive a message that you believe was sent in error or contains information you are not authorized to receive, please reply STOP and contact your Provider immediately.
12. Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
These SMS Terms are part of, and incorporate by reference, the Reap Privacy Policy and the Reap Terms of Service. Your Provider's privacy practices may also apply; please contact your Provider for their privacy policy.
13. Changes to These SMS Terms
